In 2015, thousands of women showed their support to Free The Nipple movement, a global movement against social media censorship of female nipples driven by young women. Considering the age group of the women supporting the movement and the issue they were fighting for, it was a perfect platform to deliver our message.
The idea was to reach out every single woman supporting the Free The Nipple movement on social media and remind them that they have to fight against breast cancer and save their nipple first. So we created #savethenipple.
The Italian Breast Cancer Association tied up with 8 breast cancer survivors and shared their stories with these young women with #savethenipple.
